Iodine—bromine brine applications are a physiotherapy procedure in which napkins or special pads soaked in iodine-bromine mineral brine (an aqueous solution containing iodine and bromine) are applied to the patient's skin. The procedure has a local and general therapeutic effect due to the absorption of these trace elements through the skin.

Indications:

chronic vascular diseases;

rehabilitation after injuries and operations on soft tissues and joints.
Contraindications: acute infectious processes, severe cardiovascular diseases, malignant neoplasms, diseases in the acute stage.
