Haloingalation

Haloingalation is a method of therapeutic inhalation therapy based on the inhalation of the smallest particles (aerosol) of dry or wet salt (halite) in order to prevent and treat respiratory tract diseases.

The procedure is carried out in special rooms — halo or salt chambers (salt caves), or with the help of special devices - halogenators that saturate the air with microparticles of salt.

Indications:

chronic bronchitis;
asthma;
pneumonia and other inflammatory diseases;
lung diseases;
bronchiectasis;
allergic rhinitis;
chronic diseases of the nose and larynx.

Contraindications:

acute respiratory viral infections in the acute period;
cardiovascular diseases (for example, severe arrhythmia);
acute lung diseases (for example, pneumothorax);
allergic reactions to medications used.
