Lymphatic drainage massage

Lymphatic drainage massage is a delicate technique aimed at stimulating the lymphatic system to accelerate the removal of excess fluid, toxins and metabolic products. The procedure is performed with smooth, rhythmic movements of light pressure in the direction of the lymph flow; it gently relaxes, reduces swelling and restores lightness and tone to the body.

Advantages:

  • reducing puffiness and improving body contours;

  • acceleration of the elimination of toxins and decay products;

  • support the immune system by improving lymph circulation;

  • reduction of heaviness and fatigue in the extremities;

  • prevention and improvement of the condition after injuries and operations (as prescribed by a doctor);

  • improvement of skin condition and reduction of cellulite manifestations in combination with a course of procedures.

Contraindications:

  • acute infectious and inflammatory diseases;

  • thrombosis and acute vascular pathologies (decompensated varicose veins, thrombophlebitis);

  • oncological diseases without the approval of the attending physician;

  • acute cardiovascular diseases and severe heart failure;

  • febrile conditions and acute viral infections;

  • open wounds, skin infections and dermatoses in the treatment area.

  • a tendency to bleeding and taking anticoagulants — requires consultation with a doctor;

  • recent surgeries — massage in consultation with the surgeon/doctor.

Lymphatic drainage massage is a unique technique that helps improve the outflow of lymphatic fluid and eliminate stagnation in the body. This procedure is especially recommended for people suffering from chronic or recurrent edema, including the effects of injuries and surgeries, provided that the actions are coordinated with the attending physician. Massage has a significant effect on the condition of the legs, relieving the feeling of heaviness and fatigue typical for those who spend a lot of time sitting or experiencing prolonged static muscle tension.

A specialist's consultation is recommended before starting the course.
