Magnetic therapy in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) is a physiotherapeutic treatment method based on the use of a constant or alternating magnetic field of low frequency to affect the organs of the ENT system (ear, throat, nose).
During the procedure, a magnetic field is applied to the area of the affected organ (for example, sinuses with sinusitis, ear with otitis media, throat with tonsillitis) using a special device.
A doctor's consultation is required before undergoing the procedure.
The magnetic field contributes to:
reduction of inflammation and edema;
acceleration of microcirculation and metabolic processes;
pain relief;
stimulation of tissue regeneration;
reducing the risk of adhesions after surgery
Indications:
chronic and acute sinusitis (sinusitis, frontitis, etc.);
rhinitis and pharyngitis;
otitis media;
tonsillitis;
the postoperative period.
