Iodine-bromine bath

The therapeutic effect of iodine-bromine baths is associated with the specific chemical effect of dissolved iodine and bromine. These substances have a local effect first, irritating sensitive receptors in the surface layers of the skin, and then a systemic effect.
Iodine promotes the activation of redox reactions, the production of thyroid hormones, and bromine helps to reduce arousal in the central nervous system. Intact skin has good permeability to these trace elements.
An iodine-bromine bath helps to improve the body and is very useful.
